A loan helped a member to buy seven goats to increase her starting fund.

Aksanti Group's story

Madam Jeanette is a client of microfinance institution Hekima and the representative of the "banc villageois" Aksanti. This 56-years old widow is the mother of eight children who all attend school. She received her first financing from her husband thirty years ago when he was alive and Hekima took over after that. With this loan, she will buy seven goats to enhance her initial funding. In the future, she plans on becoming a member of a butcher group and pay for her children's schooling expenses. She praises Hekima and its partners for their financial support to non bankable members of the economy.
