Selengo Group - Morogoro's story

Mwajuma is in her early thirties, and she is a single mother of three school-aged children. She is a retailer, and she owns a mini-supermarket that has been operating for three years. She opens her business daily at 6 in the morning and closes at 10:30 at night. Her business is doing well, and she earns profit.

This will be Mwajuma's third loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania.She used her previous loans to add more stock of goods to her mini supermarket. She earned profit that she used to support her family needs and to repay her loan. She repaid the loan successfully, She is applying for this loan to add more stock of food items, cleaning items, soft drinks, ice cream, chocolates, stationary and other necessities. Her dreams is to open a bigger supermarket in the near future.

Mwajuma will share a portion of this loan with her loan group, members of Selengo Group- Morogoro. They will be responsible for paying back the loan.
