A loan helped to purchase more animals to increase her sales.

Fozia's story

Financial constraints alongside the want for a better life and good quality education for her seven children are only a few but valuable factors that encouraged Fozia to start her business selling animals by taking a loan from Kashf Foundation.

Fozia is 44 years old and married. She buys animals (baby goats & calves) at low prices, raises them and then sells them out in the market at higher prices. She makes enough through her business to contribute in the family income. She also sells milk to generate an extra amount of income.

Fozia needs to improve her business to bear her household expenses. For this reason, she contacted Kashf Foundation and applied a loan of 50,000 PKR to purchase more animals to inflate her sales. She is very experienced and has good contacts in the market. With this loan, she will definitely expand her business and income level.

This loan is special because:

It provides financial services in some of the most volatile regions in Pakistan.
