Juan David lives in small town of El Laurel, a community of coffee growers two hours from San Ignacio, Perú. Juan David, age 32, lives with his wife and three minor children. He has his own plot of land, 1.5 hectares, of excellent quality coffee. Since he was a boy, his parents taught him how to do farm work. He has dreams of increasing his production of coffee and generating more income for his family, to provide an education for his children.
A loan to Juan David will give him the opportunity to improve his business, increasing his production with fertilizers and improving the quality of coffee. With the money, he will invest in the purchase of fertilizers and will give maintenance to his farm to improve the land and increase his production in the next coffee season.
