Katooke Kwekamba Group's story

Teopista is a member of Katooke Kwekamba Group in Kyenjojo Uganda. Teopista was born in the year 1970 and is married with four children, all attending school, with one dependent. She ventured into operating a stationery shop in addition to growing maize and beans to supplement her income and she now has seven years of experience in the business.

Teopista says the need to be self-employed inspired her to start the stationery business and she hopes to buy a car to ease her travels and other costs. She is asking for a loan to buy scholastic materials like textbooks, pens, and reams of paper to sell.
