Estedy is 50 years old and is a married mother blessed with five school-going children. She is a food vendor and sells locals food, such as Ugali, rice, beans, sardines, vegetables and roast meat. She has been in the food vending business for seven years. She normally opens her business at 5:00 am and closes at 8:00 pm daily, earning a profit from the business.
This will be Estedy's third loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loans to buy tables and chairs for her business to grow. She earned a good profit that she used to support her family and reinvest in her business, and she repaid her loans on time.
She is applying for this loan to continue expanding her business by purchasing food items, such as rice, maize flour, wheat flour, cooking oil and ingredients. Her dreams is to open a mini supermarket someday.
Estedy will share a portion of this loan with her fellow members of Kambarage Group Musoma, and they promise to pay back the loan.
