A loan helped to add more stock in her retail shop to improve sales.

Nuliat's story

Nuliat is a married woman with three children and all attend school.

She owns a retail shop in the outskirts of Kampala, a business she started four years ago to help her husband with the family expenses and the children's education. Nuliat asserts that the market is available because there are few retail shops in the area. However, her only challenge is the inadequate stock, which has negatively affected her sales.

She has approached UGAFODE for a loan of 2,000,000 UGX so that she restocks her shop. She is confident that the increase in stock will trigger an improvement in the sales, hence increasing her income.

Nuliat is grateful for the financial support from the funders that will boost her business. Her dream is to transform it to a wholesale outlet in the near future.
