Faraja Group - Morogoro's story

Monica is 40 years old. She is married and blessed with four children, who are still in school. She is a food vendor; she sells different types of local foods such as rice, cooked bananas and sauces. She has been in this business for over 10 years. She usually opens her business at 6:00 a.m and closes at 10:00 p.m. Her business is doing well, and she earns a profit.

This will be Monica's second loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loan to buy more stock of food items, utensils and charcoal. She earned a profit that she used to cater to her family's needs. She repaid the loan successfully. She is applying for this loan to buy more kilos of rice, maize flour, cooking oil, spices, ingredients and more seats for her customers. Her dream is to build a house and send her children to good schools.

Monica will share a portion of this loan with her loan group member of "Faraja group" Morogoro.They will be responsible for paying back the loan.
