Rebecca is in her early 30's, and she is a married mother of four school-going children. She is a grocery store owner and a charcoal vendor. She has been operating these two businesses for six years, and she works daily from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. She earns profit.
This will be Rebecca's sixth loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loans to invest in her charcoal selling business, and she earned a profit that was used to pay the school fees for her children. She managed to pay back the loan successfully, so she is applying for this loan to add more stock of tomatoes, onions, cabbages, fruit, vegetables and sacks of charcoal to sell. Her dream is to grow her business and open a retail shop in the near future.
Rebecca will share a portion of this loan with her loan group members of Tajiri Group Makumbusho.
