A loan helped to add more stock to her mini-supermarket.

Samali's story

Samali is a single mother of one child who attends school. She owns a mini supermarket in the outskirts of kampala from which she gets income to look after her child. She started with a retail shop using the child support money she got from the husband. Through hardwork and proper management of her finances, she has managed to boost the business to the level of a mini-supermarket. Her clientele has increased over the years which necessitates her to increase her inventory levels so that she meets all her client's needs. She has, therefore, approached UGAFODE for a loan of 2,000,000 UGX to add more stock to her mini-supermarket. She is optimistic that the increase in inventory will trigger an increase in sales, and so to her income. Samali sends her gratitude to the funders for the financial support that will further boost her business. Her dream is to own the biggest supermarket in the region.
