This is Tugenda Mu Maaso Group, Wandegeya (translated as 'moving forward'). It consists of members who engage in different economic activities with a common goal of poverty eradication. Samwel, aged 36, is a proud husband and father of two beautiful children aged 13 and 7 years respectively.

Samwel is humble and boasts of how UGAFODE has changed his life and family through the continuous funding. He is a motorcyclist in Kampala district, which has been his main source of income for a long period of time. All has been well until when his motorcycle got mechanical issues. This has hindered his work, thereby lowering his income.

Samwel has therefore applied for a loan from UGAFODE to top up his savings so that he can buy a new motorcycle. He is confident that with a new motorcycle, he will carry out his activities smoothly which will increase his income. Samwel appreciates the funders for the financial support. He is described as a hardworking man by his group colleagues.
