A loan helped to buy more coffee to resell.

Siraji's story

Siraji is 52 years old and a resident of Buikwe district. He is a married man with eight children and four of them go to school. He is a businessman and deals in an agro-produce business, mainly coffee and maize for a living. He buys coffee and maize from local farmers in deep villages at relatively low prices and then supplies to processing factories for a profit. He recently got an order to supply coffee for one of the processing factories but his current stock level is below the required quantity. He has therefore approached UGAFODE for a loan facility of UGX 5,000,000 to stock more coffee so that he makes a timely order. He is optimistic that this deal will yield a huge profit, which he intends to re-invest into the business to increase his working capital. Siraji is grateful for the support that will boost his business.
