A loan helped purchase of products (breads, cookies, sodas) and to buy wood to build a store.

Rocío Del Pilar's story

Rocío del Pilar is a dynamic member. She lives in the city of Pucallpa in the Ucayali region. She is 33 years old and is the mother of three children, one of which is older. She is involved in the sale of breads, cookies, and sodas, which she sells from her home. She has the support of her husband, who sells wood planks. Rocío has been a member of the “Rumbo al Éxito” (Bound for Success) communal bank for the past two years. The first loan that she received was to invest in sodas to sell.

Now, Rocío needs a loan of 2300 PEN, which will be used to purchase breads, cookies, and sodas that she will then sell. The other part of the loan will be for the purchase of wood to build a small store, since Rocío currently sells her products door to door from a tricycle.

Rocío’s goal is to have a well-assorted general grocery store.
