A loan helped to buy solar cells for her house which will solve the problem of power outages.

Amal's story

Amal, who appears in the photo, is a 33-year-old refugee married woman. She lives with her family in a camp near Dier Al Balah, Gaza Strip. She is the mother to one adorable kid. She tries so hard to raise them in best conditions and cover all their needs. Her husband works in the public sector where he earns a low income. This income is barely enough for the basic needs of the family.

Power outages and restrictions on electricity are common in the Gaza Strip. This affects the daily life of people living there. Because of this, Amal went to Palestine for Credit and Development (FATEN) to request a loan to buy solar cells for her house. This will solve the problem of power outages. She hopes you will help and fund her loan.
