Olando, 67, lives in a community in the department of Atlantida, Honduras. From a very young age, he has worked ranching and growing staple grain crops and African oil palm. He lives with his children and his wife, Berta, who also works raising pigs to help with household expenses. One of Olando's greatest aspirations is for his children to obtain a university degree. That is why he fights every day for them to have a better opportunity.
Unfortunately, in the community where Olando lives, there is no access to electricity service, so his family experiences difficulties, especially in the evenings when they do housework and very early in the morning when they go out to work. This is why Olando has decided to request financing with Soluz Honduras to purchase a solar energy system allowing him to provide better living conditions for his family.
