A loan helped a member to buy groceries to sell.

Dúo Raquel De Santiago Group's story

The “Duo Raquel” continues to be represented by Claret who has been the owner of a general store for ten years. She started in order to carry her children forward and, thanks to God, everything has gone well. Since receiving the previous loan, she has been able to expand her store a little bit.

She started with a few things and, seeing the demand for more products, she began to invest more until she managed to establish a formal business. Later, as her children grow, she realizes that she needs a greater income and as such, she opened a tortilla shop and employs a person who helps her to carry her two businesses forward.

She expresses her gratitude to each of the Kiva lenders.
