A loan helped to buy two bags of oranges and four baskets of bananas.

Yawa's story

Married and the mother of two children, Yawa is a 51-year old woman living in Agoè. Yawa is a fruit vendor who stocks up on supplies four times per month at the market and resells her fruit from the front window of her home. Yawa is asking for this loan to order bags of oranges and baskets of bananas with the hopes of having a large stock and maximizing her profit. This will allow her to help her husband in the education of their children and to provide for the daily needs of the household.
