Boda Boda Jinja Group's story

Tomas, aged 35 years, is an old member of Boda Boda Jinja group. He is a motor cyclist at one of the stages in Jinja town. He is married with four children and all are school-going.

He started his business four years ago and it has been his main source of income. Other group members also are motor cyclists with the aim of economic development. Tomas approached Ugafode Microfinance for a loan facility to top up on his savings and pay school fees for his children so that they can sit for their end of year examinations.

He is a hardworking and honest person according to his fellow group members. The group applauds the funders for the support that has enabled them earn a decent living.

The extra person (lady on the extreme left) is the UGAFODE credit officer in charge of the group.
