Suryia's story

Suryia is a working woman. She is the mother of 5 children and lives with her family in the town of Sialkot, Pakistan.

She has been providing the service of cloth stitching in her locality for the last 10 years. She is quite popular for her skills in stitching. Her work brought the family out of a financial crisis that they were facing when she started working. Over the years, she has established a good clientele.

She now wants to acquire some raw materials like needles, thread, buttons and cloth, so that she will gain some additional revenue from it. Unfortunately, she lacks the financing to do so. Therefore, she has requested a loan from JWS Pakistan, a field partner of Kiva.

Suryia and her family are very appreciative to Kiva and JWS Pakistan.
