A loan helped a member to supply out-of-stock items, such as sorghum, millet, rice, maize, soybeans, and ground nuts, for his business.

Gachuma Grp Tarime Group's story

Mwita is in his early 50's. He is married and blessed with 9 children. He operates a retail business that sells cereals such as maize and beans to support his family. He has been into this business for 9 years and is happy that it makes a good profit.

This will be Mwita’s third loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used his previous loan to buy more stock of rice, maize, soybeans, and millet, and he has successfully repaid his other loans. He used the profits from those loans to pay for school fees, rent, and household expenses.

Mwita is applying for this loan to supply the out-of-stock items such as sorghum, millet, rice, maize, soybeans, and ground nuts that he needs for his business to grow. He will share a portion of this loan with his group members from Gachuma Grp Tarime, and they will be responsible for repaying the loan.

He is grateful for this loan and thankful to Kiva lenders for strongly supporting his business.

In this group: Mwita, Geofrey, Ngoka, Christina
