A loan helped to buy more flowers to continue making arrangements and selling them.

Esperanza Del Carmen's story

Esperanza is a single mother and her children have already moved in with their partners. She studied up until Grade 2 since her parents only instilled the value of work when she was little.

Esperanza sells both natural and artificial flower arrangements. As well as this she sometimes sells atol. She starts work at 7am and finishes at 5pm.

Thanks to her previous loan with Kiva, Esperanza was able to keep her business afloat and since then she has already paid off her loan. She will use this new loan to buy more flowers to continue making arrangements and selling them.

Esperanza dreams of having a bigger business and improving her home.
