A loan helped to develop her business through buying a necessary embroidery-tailoring machine.

Salwa's story

Salwa is a 55-year-old Palestinian refugee and a married mother of four children. In 2016, she started running her own handicraft and embroidery business. She started her business to help her husband in making their living.

She's applying for a loan from Kiva's field partner, Al Majmoua, in order to develop her business through buying a necessary embroidery-tailoring machine, as she wants to open her own embroidery shop in the future.

Salwa is looking forward to expand her business in order to increase her income and improve her living conditions.
