A loan helped a member to raise chickens to get additional income for her family.

Oanh's Group's story

Oanh, born in 1965, is a Thai ethnic woman. She is living with her husband and her son in Son La city, a subsidized unit of Son La province.

The main income of her family is from the salary of her husband as a worker. It is just enough to cover the living expenses of the family and save a small amount. She wants to raise chickens to get additional income for her family but the saved amount is not enough for her to buy breeding chickens and food for the chickens. Therefore, she wants to borrow a loan for this purpose.

She hopes the loan amount will help her family develop the breed well, and when selling the chickens, she can get a considerable profit to improve the living condition of her family.
