Thanh Luong 26 Group's story

Dinh, 36, is a Thai ethnic woman. In the photo, she is the one standing on the far right with a bright smile. She lives with her husband and two sons in a house made of mud and straw. Her oldest son is studying in grade five and the youngest son is just six months old.

Dinh’s family is recognized as a poor household by the government in her commune. She did not go to school when she was a child so she cannot read or write. Her family relies on agricultural activities to earn money for living. However, sometimes she does not have enough capital to develop her husbandry.

Dinh has taken out a loan from Anh Chi Em program to buy food for her family with the hope that this investment will successfully bring great profit. She will use this profit to cover tuition fees for her son and continue investing in raising pigs.
