A loan helped to buy ducks to raise and sell.

Jeannine's story

Jeannine is thirty-three years old and works hard to support her three young daughters. She grows vegetables and raises poultry and has begun to raise pigs as well.

Jeannine works with the field partner, Vahatra, in order to have the financial means to develop her business. This will be her third loan. The previous loan was used to buy chickens and she bought a piglet with her profits. This loan will be used to buy ducks which she will feed well and then sell. Jeannine's ambition is to build up her savings so she can pay for schooling for her children.
