Lusya's story

Lusya asks for her second Kiva loan. She is very thankful for her first and very supportive Kiva loan. She lives with her husband in the frontier village Aghavnavank of Tavush region. Lusya still works as an accountant and does farming. Her husband helps her very much about their farm, and they take care of cows, calves, pigs, a horse and chickens.

Lusya sells her products right from her farm, including milk, macun (national dairy-product), cheese, meat and eggs. From the orchard that Lusya also owns, she gathers sweet harvests of apricots, apples, mulberries and figs. Lusya also sells honey and she has great number of beehives.

This time Lusya asks her Kiva loan in order to enlarge the number of her bee families and also more pigs to develop her swine breeding activities.
