Patrick aged 40 years is from Nansana-Kampala district. He is married with one child who is nine years old. He pays school fees for her and he has no dependents at all due to the high cost of living standards.
He has been in the motorcycle transport business since 1998, a job he started due to inspirations from his late father. He wanted to construct his own house but did not have sufficient funds to do so until he approached Ugafode, where he was in a group of five members who attained training on how to manage loans productively. He now wants a loan to complete construction of his first home by buying cement, iron sheets and sand because his dream is to have a bigger family. He even wants to buy a vehicle but his challenge is theft, competition and weather. To make matters worse, his additional income from his beauty salon is also seasonal.
