At the age of 32, Sreyleak is a rice farmer in a rural area of Kampong Svay District, Kampong Thom Province. She is a married mother of a small kid who is under the age of school. Sreyleak has been involved in her farming business for ten years and in fishing with her husband for five years to earn a living. Drought is the main challenge for her.
To save her business, she is now leading a group of five to buy seeds, fertilizer and pay the labor fee, which is expected to increase the productivity of her crop yields. This is the second loan cycle for her with VisionFund. She hopes to gain more crop yields so to earn more income to better support her living conditions.
