Sofia Bibi's story

Sofia Bibi is a 32-year-old married women and the mother of one child living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan and she is standing with her husband. She has been running a small general store for many years near her house and the business is operating very well. In this way, she is feeding her family members. She has been running a small general store for five years inside her house. Her shop is situated in a populated area, and there are a lot of customers available here to buy miscellaneous general store items. She wants to offer all those products which are necessary and consumable for daily usage. She wants to offer stationery items such as copies, pencils, pens, led pencils, erasers etc. But the major problem is the shortage of funds.

Therefore, Sofia Bibi requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan, so that she could buy additional stationery items to enhance her business and make it more effective. She is very glad after taking this loan and hopeful that she will successfully fulfill each request for any item and prevent the disappointment of her customers.
