A loan helped to buy clothing of distinct sizes and styles to sell at her shop, with the aim of using the earnings to pay for her children’s studies.

Rita Erika's story

Rita is forty-two years old. She studied until the ninth grade. Her husband is a teacher at an educational center in the community. They have three children that are in school and depend on them.

For five years Rita has had a small business selling clothing. The need to make a living for her family led her to start her own business. She used to go from door to door offering clothing, but after two years she decided to set up a fixed place. Now she promotes the merchandise next to her sister and gets good results. Her work day starts during the first hours of the morning and ends at sundown and then she has to take care of the house chores and the family.

Rita has proven herself to be a very entrepreneurial woman and her smile in the photograph shows that she feels satisfied with her work. In order to better herself she needs a loan to buy clothing of distinct sizes and styles to sell at her shop. With the earnings she will also be able to pay for her children’s studies.

Her main goals are to improve her business and give a good education to her children so they will have a promising future.
