A loan helped a member to buy a sewing machine.

Talento I Group's story

Talento I is a group that has been with Banco do Povo Credito Solidario (BPCS) for only a year and a half. The members live in the Maua-Sao Paulo region and the group is made up of friends who work in the same region. Eduardo has a bar; Renan is a hair dresser; and Valdeci sells sweets and cheese.

Lourenca is the group's leader. She is 57 years old, married, and has three children, two of whom are also clients of the bank.

She is a seamstress and has been working in this field for 20 years. Her work allows her to help with the household expenses. Lourenca needs the loan so she can buy a sewing machine to better meet the needs of her customers. In the future she plans to open a sewing workshop to help other women realize the dream of having their own business.

The group is excited about the help it received from the investors, and said that it is a unique opportunity and they will not disappoint them.

In this group: Eduardo, Lourença, Renan, Valdeci
