A loan helped to pay the remaining installment of her husband's rickshaw.

Allah Rakhi's story

Allah Rakhi is a twenty-six-year-old, married woman who is living along with her spouse in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. She is pictured with her husband and his auto rickshaw.

He has been providing transportation services in his hometown. A few months ago, he purchased a new rickshaw on credit. He has been paying monthly installments, which decreases his monthly income, and, ultimately, money became short for household expenses.

He wants to pay the full remaining installment of his rickshaw so he can get rid of this additional expense and fulfill his household expenses.

Therefore, Allah Rakhi has requested a Kiva loan from Kiva's field partner, BRAC Pakistan, so that her husband can fully pay the remaining installments and provide revenue for household expenses.

Allah Rakhi thanks Kiva and its field partner BRAC Pakistan for this honorable support.

This loan is special because:

It provides financial services in some of the poorest parts of Pakistan.
