A loan helped a member to purchase a solar energy home system to allow his kids to study at night.

Antonio's Group's story

Antonio, Roberto, Felix and Esteban are farmers who live in Ayutla de los Libres, Guerrero with their families. Antonio sows corn to self consume and to sell and earn some money to give his family the basic things, although they live on less than a dollar per person in his family. Also, Antonio, spent almost 10% of his monthly income to buy candles to light his house, because in his town they don't have basic services such as potable water and electricity.

Antonio wants to change his light source, because he considers it dangerous and harmful for health. He wants to invest in a solar energy home system that will allow him to have a proper lighting system at home. With this one his kids will have a proper light for studying during the afternoon and night.
