Adja Oumou's Group's story

The 'banc villageois' that houses this group was inaugurated in February 2001. It is composed of eight women who work in commerce and who have a lot of solidarity. Ms. Yaye Diabou, at the right in the photo with a hand raised, is the representative of the group. She is unmarried, 47 years old, and the mother of three children, including two boys. For over 10 years, she has been active in selling ready-to-wear clothing and secondhand clothing.

She is going to purchase 150,000 francs CFA worth of secondhand clothing; and 200,000 francs worths of ready-to-wear items by using the money requested. The profits will be used to cover family expenses.
