This group, named Kuña Katupyry, was formed in the city of Caaguazú, and is composed of hard-working, courageous women who joined the group because they saw an opportunity to improve and enlarge their enterprises. They are in a poverty elimination program, seeking to gradually overcome their impoverishment.
One of the group members who is notable for being dedicated and hard-working is Brigida, who sells clothing in order to earn her household's sustenance. She notes that with a lot of effort, and daily work, she is able to give her loved ones the things they need, so that they don't have to suffer want as she did.
She is requesting this loan in order to purchase a variety of articles of clothing for sale, such as jeans, shirts, pants, blouses, t-shirts, and other garments, and in this way be able to continue with her customary sales.
