A loan helped to buy raw materials including lace, buttons, threads and artificial gems.

Tabasum's story

Tabasum is a 36-year-old woman, living with her family in the area of Gujranwala, Pakistan.

She runs a women's clothes tailoring business at her home. She has been working in this sphere of services since 2013. Her relatives helped her to initiate her business back then. Since then, she has worked very hard to make it grow and flourish as it does now.

Currently, she requires purchasing a few raw materials for her business including lace, buttons, threads and artificial gems for designing purposes, but finds it difficult to buy these required items due to financial constraints.

Therefore, she has requested a loan from JWS Pakistan, a field partner of Kiva.

Tabasum is very thankful to Kiva and JWS Pakistan.

This loan is special because:

It helps women entrepreneurs grow their small businesses.
