A loan helped a member to have enough money to buy additional land for growing rice.

Noong Luong 61 Group's story

Hoa is a 35-year-old woman who married and is mother of two girls. There are five people in her family living in a small house: her mother-in-law, her husband, her two children and her, so it is difficult for her to ensure her whole family’s well-being. Her family income relies on agricultural production which always creates very low and unstable income. Hence, her family always faces the lack of capital to improve their farming.

Therefore it is the first time she has taken out a loan from Anh Chi Em program to have enough money to buy additional productive land for growing rice. She hopes that this additional land will help her expand her rice farming and have more profit.

Hoa dreams of giving her daughters a higher education in order to having a better future and upgrading her family’s living standard. In the picture, she stands at the first from the right.
