A loan helped a member to purchase wholesale wool.

Rayito De Sol Group's story

The communal bank Rayito del Sol will begin its fourth cycle in Pro Mujer as part of the Copacabana regional office. It is made up of nine members and is run by a board of directors, of which Aydee is the president.

The loan that they will take out will benefit microentrepreneurs, and Aydee is one of them. She currently has a business selling blankets. She says that she learned this business from her mother several years ago.

The loan that she will take out will be for an increase of capital to purchase wholesale wool, which she will acquire from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz. Later, she will make and sell [the blankets] in her retail space. This type of work allows her to generate resources to support her family financially since she is in a common-law relationship and has two children.

In this group: Aydee Rocio, Deysi , Clary Yovana , Gladys , Juan , Sara Alfonsa, Maria Mercedes , Remedios Beatriz, Angela Bertha
