Noeline lives in Kagadi, Uganda, and operates a salon where she does hairdressing and sells cosmetics. She started this business in the year 1998 and it is her major source of income. Noeline supplements her income with farming. She started this business to generate income and diversify her finances.

Noeline is a member of a group in which the members guarantee one another to access credit. She needs a loan to buy cosmetics to use in her salon. Noeline has plans of expanding her business in the near future, but her major challenge is competition. She is a member of the Kusiima Women’s Group, where members guarantee one another for credit.
