Kapere's story

Kapere is a 53-year-old divorced man blessed with two children all hailing from Fort Portal, Uganda. He has had a business selling bananas for the last 10 years. He accumulated money and then changed the business to charcoal and at the moment, he sells bananas. He has the duty of educating his children and taking care of them. His major business challenge is price fluctuations, which hinder him from attaining his goal of buying land on a large scale and carrying out dairy farming. Kapere needs the assistance of a Kiva loan to buy more bananas to sell.
