A loan helped to buy candies, gum balls, Colombina brand products, and bags for packaging.

Rosa Elena's story

Rosa is 55 years old. She is separated and lives with her daughter and two grandchildren who attend school in nearby education centers. Thirty years ago Rosa began selling candies as there were no jobs available and she had household expenses such as food, health and rent. These were basic things her home needed.

With the initiative of her job she has managed to pay some of the bills. Her strength is always forging ahead and never giving up despite the different obstacles that present themselves daily. Rosa Elena wants to keep caring for her business. For that purpose she needs to buy candies, gum balls, Colombina brand products, and bags to package her merchandise. In this way she will be able to continue improving her number of sales. Her dream is to move her grandchildren forward, and to set up her own store in which to continue selling candies.
