Tatiana's story

I am originally from the French Congo. I came to the United States after graduating from high school to pursue my education, as well as the available opportunities unique to America. I attended Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ for a couple of years and eventually graduated from the University of Phoenix, Detroit with a Bachelor's degree In Business Administration in the year 2006.

I am a single mother always looking for ways to improve livelihood for my daughter and myself, so after reading "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" from Robert Kiyosaki years ago, I became interested in becoming a business entrepreneur and in placing my mark on the world.

However, my personal high came after I opened a small business called Tmb Vending and was able to implement a vending machine at the Embassy Suites Detroit Metro Airport, where I have sustained employment for over 12 years. This little step allowed me to realize that if I was able to do that I could do much more.

I have a burning desire to positively touch this world and give back to the community one day by providing employment opportunities and by being involved in charitable work.
