Moyamba Group's story

Bintu is married with one child aged 25. Bintu is a thirty-eight years old woman who is the leader of Moyamba Solidarity Group which is made up of four members. All four members including Bintu are engaged in petty trading but sell different products. She sells dried fish. Bintu has sold dried fish for the past 9 years. She will use the proceeds from her business to provide a livelihood for her family.

Bintu and her group members are requesting for a total loan of 4,000,000 SLL. Bintu will use her own share of 1,000,000 SLL, to buy dozens of dried fish. Bintu is shown at the right of the picture.

Bintu hopes that her business will continue to exist so that she can save enough money to start her house construction and better living condition for her family. Bintu hopes that this loan will earn her more profit for her to support her family. Bintu and her group members thank you for financing their businesses.
