A loan helped to buy pigs and sell them when they have grown.

Irma Arely's story

Irma is 50 years old, and she studied little at school because of a lack of economic resources. Her husband works in agriculture and cattle raising. They have five children, but only two of them live with her, and they work in agriculture. Irma's mother also lives with her, who is 78 years old.
Irma has worked since she was a little girl in agriculture thanks to her parents who taught her this work. She traverses one and a half kilometers to reach her crops and she stays there as long as necessary. In the afternoons she returns home to spend time with her family.
She needs this loan to buy pigs to sell them when they have grown, as this generates a profit.
She plans in the future to have a plot of land to farm, because now she is renting the land, and she also has a dream of building a brick house.
