Emedy Group's story

José is a 48-year-old mother of six children, all of whom attend school. She is an entrepreneur who runs a tailoring business and also sells sewing supplies out of her home. She started her business 25 years ago with capital received from her family.

José is a member of the solidarity group Emedy, and they are clients of the microfinance institution Hekima. She is requesting this loan to purchase supplies in order to grow her business. She wishes to thank Hekima and their lending partners for their support of non-bankable entrepreneurs.
