Bukadde Magezi Group 2 Nakawa's story

ukadde Magezi Group 2 Nakawa, located within the the city neighbourhood, is comprised of business people who support each other. Christine is a repeat client at UGAFODE Microfinance. She is a single woman with children.

Christine is a businesswoman who owns a fish stall selling dried fish. Driven by the desire to increase working capital and expand her business, she has applied for her loan portion of 1,000,000 UGX to buy more stock of fish to sell. However, she is faced with the challenges of competition and lack of capital.

Chrisine is very grateful for the support UGAFODE Microfinance and Kiva's lenders are offering to the group members because they will be able to sustain their businesses. The extra member (second right) is amember of the group who apparently saving to qualify for the group loan during the next cycle. she signed the waiver form.
