Sokong is a resident of Kampong Cham province. She is 41 years old and has three children, only one of whom is in school. She grows rice to earn the main income for her family and works as a factory worker for an additional source of income. Due to not having enough working capital, she is now leading a group of four to apply for a Kiva loan in order to buy fertilizer to increase her crop yields. The rest of money will be spent on buying grocery items for sale which is a new business for her. She hopes that this year she will gain more yield, as well as the profit,s from her new business.
