Ayushmita's Group's story

Ayushmita, standing to the right, is a single mother and hails from Aanandpur, Odisha, India. She is a blessed mother with two children. Her daughter attends school and her son is involved in a stitching business. Ayushmita has been doing hand embroidery work for many years. She makes beautiful patterns on saree ends and dupattas for the people of her community. Her designs are much in demand, and she earns enough through her skill to meet the expenses of her family.

Due to the high cost of the raw materials of her business, she is facing a shortage of material and she is unable to purchase expensive raw material to carry on her embroidery business. To help her to continue her operations, she along with her group member, has requested a loan of 30,000 INR. Ayushmita will use her portion of the loan amount to buy reels of threads in different colors and packs of beads, stones, ribbons, fabrics etc. for her business. With this purchase, she will be able to cater to more customers consistently. She is hopeful that she will increase her income by attracting more customers.

She conveys her heartiest thanks to her lenders .
