A loan helped to buy groceries, grains, and vegetables.

Julian Andres's story

Julián is a 29-year-old man who, due to economic necessity and the lack of work opportunities, decided to start a life as a business owner. He started a general store where he offers basic family necessities.

Because of a problem from a national public order, the truck drivers in charge of carrying the merchandise to all corners of Colombia began an indefinite strike. This caused a national problem in which foods became scarce; therefore, the price to stock a business increased.

Julián lives off of his store. He maintains a home with his partner and maintains his parents. He needs merchandise to stock his store, but this is more expensive. Therefore, he wants to request a loan that he wants to invest in the purchase of groceries, grains, and vegetables. The motivation for the loan is the rise in prices because of the problem previously mentioned.
