Luis is a 55 year old man who lives in a city in Ecuador. He works raising chickens in a pen he constructed himself and he also works as day labor. Luis has two children. The 29 year old is independent and the 28 year old still depends on his father as he suffers from a sickness that impedes him from walking properly. Luis is a widower and for this reason has to fight alone to get ahead with his son who uses crutches to walk as his feet do not function.
Luis will use the loan to buy chickens. The biggest wish of this man is to improve his business and expand it to obtain more profits and the resources to cover his son's medical expenses and food for the house. And if possible he wants to buy a small house where they can live more peacefully as at present he is leasing a house where he lives with his son.
